There was a moist fog hanging in the air the other night when I noticed the sun was casting its orange light against the sky as it set in the distance. I grabbed the camera and the tripod and walked over to the bridge to take a few photos. While the sunset may not have [...]

A black capped chickadee sits atop his home on a cold winter afternoon. Took this with the big Canon EF 70-200mm f/2.8 II IS lens I’m borrowing and I am so impressed with the sharpness and accuracy of this glass. If you like this photo, please click Like or Share below to help promote my [...]

The entry to the country store at Kimball Farm in Westford. I took this from the other side of the street and I could barely see over the snowbank on the side of the road. Still, I love the way the light came out in this and it just feels warm inside.

We had a great snow storm the other day that left the yard a winter wonderland for the kids. Happy Mom had a great playing with them and watching them have fun.

One thing that this project has helped me practice is the art of seeing photos wherever I happen to be. After a long day out we stopped at the supermarket to pick up a few necessities. While my wife was inside shopping, I was outside shooting. I thought this photo was a pretty good find.

This 1860 bell used to be part of an old Mission. It now stands outside of St Mark’s in Westford Massachusetts. The bell is now a patina green but looks much better with a little black & white treatment.
