This was a hip-shot taken in passing, but it’s also my favorite photo of the day. Sure, there were other pictures with pretty flowers and the older kids showing off, but this kid is just so handsome. Must be the random artistic framing. Judging from the catch-light I must have been holding my speedlite in the other hand.
I just got back from a trip to Austin Texas, where besides starting a new full-time job I also took a few hundred more photographs to process. One night I was out wandering around on downtown 6th Street and ended up photographing a couple bands and a lot of random people.
