I often get asked to take photos of various knitting projects. This project was no exception. The shawl itself is beautiful, but I was even more delighted at how lovely this photo of it came out.

We are signed up for the CSA at Springdell Farm in Littleton. Every week we get a big box full of wonderful fresh fruits and vegetables. These are just a few of things that we received this week, much more has already been consumed or put in proper storage. Not great clarity on today’s photo… [...]

Here’s an interesting little creature that we spotted in the garden recently… it’s called a snowberry clearwing hummingbird moth. The flowers in our yard come and go in stages. The other morning my daughter brought me outside to show me these new bloom, and to report on how her brother had killed the crocus’s (posted earlier, and hidden in the bokeh above) when he watered them. I assured her that he had not killed [...]

A collection of artificial roses I encountered on a late-night excursion to the local pharmacy. I had already made my selection of the desired over-the-counter remedy and was perusing around the store five minutes before closing. One of the clerks asked if she could help me find anything and I told her I was photo [...]
