I went to a holiday party the other day and actually left my camera in the car. On purpose. I had worked all day, and then played Dad all evening, and it was after 10pm before I even left for the party. I didn’t feel like shooting anything, but at some point I remembered that [...]

Here in Westford there is an old 1880′s one-room schoolhouse in the historic Parkerville district. I recently had the opportunity to explore the inside of the schoolhouse, and there I found this antique upright phonograph. This is a detail shot of the fine speed adjustment lever.

So I walk into another bar off Sixth St in Austin just as the band is taking a break. However, the drummer and the percussionist hang out and start to jam. They locked up pretty tight and had some great stuff going, each one taking turns adding their own creativity to the mix. I had [...]

Quick shot of my favorite bass effects pedal tonight. I never really learned to play my bass well, so throwing in a little distortion always helps me sound a little better. (Not good, just… better.) To reproduce a stage lighting kind of look I have a work light low to the left bounced off a [...]
