Walking back from an appointment in Boston I passed this campus green and was really impressed with the beauty. The iPhone photo doesn’t do it justice. Pretty sure this is part of the Harvard Medical School campus. This photo was supposed to be number 263 but I somehow skipped publishing two photos. Ah well, I [...]

I’ve grown impatient waiting for the geese to accept me into their flock.  I decided to try to inject myself into the gaggle, but they just keep moving away.  It was great fun chasing them around the yard for a bit, but ultimately I still do not feel like one of the bunch.  Still, this [...]

Went out and shot the geese in the yard the other evening. I like that in this shot the birds are all looking in different directions and none are looking at me. I also like the touch of evening sun that managed to cut through the trees and cast a bit of light onto the [...]

It’s hard to get kids to do stuff like this when you’re planning something, so sometimes the best thing is to just have the camera ready [...]

More fun with the kids in the yard. I think they enjoyed seeing the "frozen in air" type pictures. One thing I’ve learned is that it’s hard to get a 3yr-old and a 6yr-old to jump in unison. Here’s the 3yr-old and her amazing floating boots.

On Saturday I set out for a walk in the town forest that sits across the street from our house. I hoped to find a trail and maybe something interesting, and I have since learned that neither really exist. (Well, unless you find wetlands and beaver gnawings interesting… which I kinda do in a way.) [...]
