Had “date night” with my lovely wife at our favorite local restaurant. I even promised to pay more attention to her than to the camera. It wasn’t that hard really, but I did knock the photo out early so that I could give her my undivided attentions. Love you Sweetie.

Thanksgiving day… first priority: cook the pies. (…and man were they good!)

The last thing I do before heading to bed is to grind the coffee for the morning. I had just refilled the hopper of the grinder and used the speedlite bounced off the ceiling to light this bed of brown beans.

Been trying to do more with eggs lately, for what should be pretty obvious reasons. I decided to make egg-in-the-hole toast, using thick homemade bread and three fresh chicken eggs. We have ben really enjoying the fresh friuts and vegetables that have been coming our CSA box. Locally grown foods just seem to tast better, not to mention being better for our environment and our community farms. This is a slice of watermelon and some seeds that we enjoyed for desert the other day. Delicious!
