These are some of our fresh eggs from the chickens. We collect for the co-op once a week, and we are getting between one and almost two dozen fresh eggs each time we go. Lit with a single Speedlite bounced off the kitchen ceiling.

We have ben really enjoying the fresh friuts and vegetables that have been coming our CSA box. Locally grown foods just seem to tast better, not to mention being better for our environment and our community farms. This is a slice of watermelon and some seeds that we enjoyed for desert the other day. Delicious!

This is really a friend’s housecat, but between the royal colored background and the regal posturing I thought the photo has a very noble feel to it. (I suspect the posturing is the cat wondering what my flash is and how many more times it was going to fire a bright light into his eyes.)
