This is the things boats do most often… wait for someone to come use them. This is our modest little boat, waiting on Sebec Lake for us to take it out for a spin. Sometimes we fish from it, but mostly we just ride around and enjoy the time on the water.

Got up early to check the fishing with Max. The lake is so calm and peaceful at these hours.

Another attempt at an iPhone shot. Captured these on the run just after a partner meeting in northern Massachusetts. I think it came out OK, but certainly nothing fantastic from an artistic or technical standpoint. Always love being by the water though!

Today’s picture is also from the workshop, but in an indirect kind of way. Last night my son and I made this project from a library book. (Hence the library shot a few days back.) This , which is two whole feet long, was made entirely by hand, by the boy, using only scrap pieces of wood. (Well, the logs were “recycled” from a former CD rack.) It was great to be building something real with him as opposed to just nailing boards together. We are both very proud of the results of his efforts.
