Wow! I love this shot you have here! Kinda looks like an optical illusion! I have seen "the Bean" a couple times, but only in the wintertime. It looks lovely here! Good job!! :)

Sort of. I use bracketed 3-stop exposures on high-speed continuous shooting mode. Then I move the bracket group manually to the next 3 stops. Rinse, repeat as necessary.

I love it. This is the sort of composition that I like the best. B&w or color, it doesn't matter to me. This shot reminds me of the first artsy shot I ever took- as a kid (I was in 6th grade) with a Kodak 110 camera- standing at one foot of the St. Louis Arch, camera pressed against the metal (no-look shot) aiming upwards.

My camera was identical to this one in shape, but had different markings:

Thanks Sean, I'll have to try that. Do you do the exposures by hand? I use the built-in exposure bracketing of my camera, which gets me three shots with +/- 2 stops on either end.

Nice. I love the clouds against the house in this. I agree with your wants, but this is pretty nice. You'll have to go back. I have found that a very wide range of exposures, -4 to +2 at 1 stop intervals is great for stuff like this. Granted, your clouds would get softer.
