Every spring when the snow melts, the Concord River fills up and flows over its banks. It’s always fascinating for me to see the acres of woods overtaken by the flood. While the bridge here between Carlisle and Bedford is in no danger, it is certainly a lot closer to the water than it is during the summer months.
