Late this night I gave an exasperated sigh as I realized I had not yet done anything for my daily photo. I was filling my wife’s water glass, a plastic skull gifted from our son, and decided to just shoot that with my iPhone before delivering the drink and going to bed. Well, with some slight adjustments it became something that actually looks kind of cool. The pattern in the background is the blind on the kitchen window, and the only light is the one directly over our sink. The black and white treatment created some heavy contrast and the cropping got rid of most of my hand. Not bad for 30 seconds of shooting effort.
