The town of Windham, New Hampshire has the unusual privilege of having its own castle. The Searles School and Castle was donated to the town in 1909. This section of the wall has been mostly hidden until recent road construction made its presence more obvious. I was driving through town for the first time in years and had to stop to photograph this turret while it is still standing. Very cool.
