Rolling – 251/365

I had seen a blog post about the effects that a “” can produce when taking pictures of objects. With a rolling shutter, like the one in my , the image is scanned from top to bottom one line at a time. Things that move quickly can appear to be because they are in a different spot at the end of the exposure than they were at the beginning. I took this photo from the passenger seat of a car going over a outside of . The cityscape in the distance looks fine, but the post and the are clearly leaning to the side as a result of the rolling shutter effect.
