In the past I’ve always worked on the technical side of the fence. My employers have always given me a few dozen business cards for the off chance that I may actually meet a customer face to face. Recently, however, I took on a role on the sales side of things, and I was moderately entertained at the full box and overflowing envelope of business cards I received. I’m sure I’ll have no trouble handing them all out, but the contrast on this topic was almost humorous.
