We were at the amusement park the other day and thought I would find some good perspective shots. Even though it was the middle of the day, the wheel was empty and quiet as it was down for repairs. At first this photo didn’t really strike me as much, mostly because the sky was completely washed out. With a little adjusting of the light, however, I was able to darken up the blue enough to even distinguish the wispy clouds. I like adjusting the light bands in the raw images as it allows me to make some things darker, like the sky here, while making other things darker, like the wheel and the cars here. Almost has an HDR kind of feeling to it. Anyway, I’m happy with it now that it looks good.
