Around these parts it is well known that Kimball Farm’s ice cream is some of the best around. We took the family to the main store the other night and enjoyed some old fashioned frozen goodness. Kimball’s actually has two outlets, the main one being in Westford and the other in neighboring Carlise. The "farm" in Westford is becoming an entertainment complex complete with mini golf, bumper boats, full dining, a small golf course, corporate conference rooms, and a full arcade being in the works. (There’s also a "cruise night" on Thursdays in the summer!) The farm in Carlise, however, is still just a quaint little farm with a few animals and some trees to climb on. We typically prefer the small farm to the lines and commotion of the main store but that location doesn’t open for a few more weeks. Still, no matter where we buy it, Kimball Farm’s ice cream is totally yummy.
