In my bag of I carry at most these three lenses. On the left there’s the standard EFS 18-55mm “kit ” that ships with ’s Digital Rebels. This is the newer model with the IS feature, and I also have an older one that came with my first Rebel in 2003. There’s the EF 50mm f1.8 II, also known as the “nifty fifty”, an inexpensive prime lens with a beautifully large aperture for the price. Lastly there is the EF 55-200mm f/4.5-5.6 II USM, a relatively inexpensive long lens for pulling in those distant subjects.

For the setup on this one used the foam board as the base and backdrop. I’ve got the halogen work lights bounced off the walls behind the subject on camera right and camera left. Forward of the subject on camera left I have a at 1/4 fired through a hula-hoop with some white fabric draped over it.

Damn… I’m shooting light through a hula hoop.
