Shoot Me, Shoot You – 058/365

Today I took the kids a out hiking along the creek that runs from a local cranberry bog. I brought my bag of course, and this time my son asked if he could bring his too. Of course he can.

I’m glad that my son enjoys taking photos. He has been handling my camera since he was about three years old. I’m still a bit nervous when he carries around the expensive gear, but he really is careful about it. Nonetheless, finding a camera like this old on freecycle it a great thing. I mean, they’re kids, and accidents happen. We actually lost a few small digital cameras to damage, so any replacement was a welcome addition. So when he or his little sister want to take pictures, they have their own pixels to play with!

Oh, one more thing… Hooray for the end of the second month of this project!

This is what I did today, however I don’t quite trust my kids with anything other than the kids-level cameras. It was dropped in the mud twice today. Scary if it was something valuable.

    Nice shot!
