This is the older of our two dogs. She’s half golden retriever and, we’re pretty sure, half border collie. She really is black and white, so when I converted this image to gray-scale the only things that changed where her tags and something on the porch in the background. She’s usually pretty camera-shy so I was happy to get a nice picture of her today.

Have I mentioned that you should always keep your camera with you? I took this on the way back from emptying the kitchen compost into the bin. The snow had just begun and I thought there would be a potential “good shot” out there. After yesterday’s miserable failure, I’m happy to have today’s picture posted early!
