The kids “discovered” their sleeping bags in my closet yesterday, so of course last night they just had to make camp in the living room. It looks like the stuffed animals were more tired than the kids as they actually went to sleep at a reasonable time.
I always say, when doing this 365 photo challenge, that I should just keep shooting and not worry too much about plans. Sure, I have a shot list of things I would like to get to doing, but most days I’m just trying to get by. Yesterday was a decent example. It was getting close to the end of the day, I hadn’t had much time to think about the project, and now the kids want to go “camping”. I made the most of it and took some photos of the campsite, fully expecting to use one of them for the day’s posting. With camera still in hand I noticed one of the kids’ toys, a plastic piggy bank, was sitting on the kitchen island and I started shooting it too. Turns out I like that one better, and this great stuffed animal adventure ends up back on the shelf. Good thing for outtakes and second lives for photos!
