There was a lovely sunset at the cranberry bogs the other day. (Well, maybe it was last month, but that was a day other than today.) We had taken the dogs and the kids out for an afternoon walk an we were rewarded with a nice colorful greeting to the evening. The fall colors have passed from the trees and the snow had not yet begun to fall, so the golden brown dormant plants were further colored from the golden sunlight coming in from the horizon. New England can be beautiful any time of the year.
